Violinist Samuel Katz has been praised by the New York Times for playing with "...lovely sound and lyricism”. Samuel has concertized extensively throughout Europe and U.S. He was featured as a soloist with the New York Youth Symphony on their 50th anniversary concert in Carnegie Hall, collaborating with Cho-Liang Lin and Michelle Kim. Samuel made his solo debut with orchestra at the age of 12 and has been featured on NPR radio, performing with Christopher O’Riley on From the Top. He served as concertmaster of the NYYS from 2009 to 2013. Samuel Katz holds a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Music from The Juilliard School studying with Daniel Phillips
